Explore my city

One of our mentoring activities in Thailand took place at the Wiang Kum Kam Information Center. Wiang Kum Kam is an archaeological site south of Chiang Mai that contains the ruins of a 13th-century fortified city. The Information Center brings those ruins back to life and our mentees were able to experience this firsthand. Everyone gathered in the morning for an ice breaker game and then were off to the museum to explore! Learning about history is one way we can help our mentees understand how it shaped their lives today and can give them a deeper connection to their culture. It was a valuable learning experience and a fulfilling day for everyone! Would you like to support more mentorship events like this one? Learn how you can help by clicking the link below. Your donation ensures that we can keep hosting these events to give each orphan the opportunity to learn more about their culture and the world around them.
