2nd Mentoring Event

ART ACTIVITY

Mentoring programs hold the power to create a profound impact on children’s lives, forging meaningful connections with their mentors. It’s essential for children to gain hands-on experiences outside of the classroom, and engaging activities can serve as a conduit for this growth.

For our elementary school mentees, crafting activities offer an excellent choice, while middle and high school mentees can explore the art of cooking traditional Lanna cuisine. To ensure effective communication, these activities can be conducted in smaller groups, enhancing the learning experience.

The CMU Open Air Lanna Traditional House Museum stands as an invaluable resource for these pursuits, offering a unique platform for delving into Lanna cultural heritage, architecture, and the world of handicrafts. Additionally, the museum provides creative workshops and guided tours, enabling both mentors and mentees to deepen their understanding and appreciation of Lanna traditions.
