Khoa Nguyen is currently a Specialty Sales Representative at Actavis Pharmaceuticals. Before joining the healthcare industry, he was working on Wall Street with Dealogic developing and selling financial softwares to investment banks. He graduated from James Madison University with a double degree in Finance & Computer Information System, and minoring in French.
Julie Tran serves as Director of Advalurem Group with the primary responsibility for overseeing asset management and portfolio management. Ms. Tran provides oversight of Advalurem’s investments, monitors operating performance, maintains relationships with partners, and provides strategic and tactical property recommendations. She also manages investor reporting and is a member of the Investment Committee. Ms. Tran served on the management team at Candlebrook Properties, a real estate operating company based in New York. There she oversaw a $700 million portfolio of multifamily investments throughout the Northeast. Ms. Tran holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of California, Berkeley and is an active member of Urban Land Institute and a board member of the New York Private Equity Network Women’s Committee.
Angela Tsai is a Director at Epiq Bankruptcy Solutions, with financial advisory experience for over 100 pre- and post-filing chapter 11 proceedings across various industries and sizes, as well as experiences in non-traditional bankruptcy projects and foreign bankruptcy cases, including the solicitation and tabulation of CIT’s prepackaged bankruptcy plan, the distribution planning and facilitation in GM’s bankruptcy proceedings, and the claims reconciliation process for the top 2 bankrupt Icelandic banks. Prior to joining Epiq Systems, Angela was a Manager in the restructuring and turnaround practice of Huron Consulting Group. Angela received her B.S. in Business Administration with honors from Binghamton University, for concentrations in Finance and Management Information System.
